The SA-76D Plus is an exact replica of a vintage UREI 1176 Rev D compressor, and is the most authentic and accurate reproduction of the iconic UREI 1176 Rev D available today.
With a fully discrete signal path following the original schematic and by using identical 0-12 and 50002 transformers we have managed to impart the original tone and character founds on these vintage compressors.
Unlike any other replica the SA-76D plus has a built in and selectable tube output circuit which is activated by pulling on the output knob. The tube output stage includes a 12AY7 valve and a Carnhill transformer that takes this compressor to the next level with a bigger low end and added harmonics.
Just like the ADG and ADF series the SA-76D plus has the super slow mod option on the attack knob which is ideal for compressing bass and kicks.

The SA-76D Plus features a Sowter 1260 input transformer which is an identical replica of the original UTC O-12 (Ratio 1:1.58 200/500 Ohms) and two Sowter/Carnhill output transformers that precisely matches the ratio and frequency response of the original 5002 and a Carnhill output transformer.
